VETERINARY TECHNICIAN / VETERINARY NURSE

Duties: Interact with doctors, other vet team staff members and clients to provide high quality patient care for a four-doctor AAHA small animal hospital. Responsibilities and duties include: patient nursing care, client communication, anesthesia, dental therapy, surgical patient monitoring, radiology, ultrasonography imaging, in-house blood chemistry laboratory equipment.

  • Two year prior employment history in same or similar position

Customer Care Representative

Job Purpose:
Front line client communication representative for busy small animal veterinary practice. Provides initial client phone contact, scheduling, client greeting, checkout and collection of payment.

Duties:

  • Greet and welcome clients & answer general pet care questions

  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate patient records.

  • Process over the counter transactions, filing of medical records and assist in all areas of client communication.

  • Inform clients of financial policies and collect fees.

  • Resolves customer service issues by identifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and in monthly staff and team meetings
