Ptiah was born and raised in a military family. Stationed in England, she was born at Lakenheath RAF. In 1988 Ptiah’s family decided to return to the states and settled in San Antonio, Texas. She grew up and graduated High School in San Antonio. After high school Ptiah was not sure what she wanted to do with her life. She traveled for a bit through the United States and then went to school for web design. Ptiah moved home with her mother in Floresville, Texas. There she worked as a waitress. In 2012 she met her now Fiance Steven and moved to Dickinson in 2013 where she started working at the UPS Store. In early 2014 Ptiah found out she was pregnant and left the UPS store to focus on her family. Their daughter, Isabela Skye was born on October 18, 2014. After a year of being a stay at home mom, Ptiah decided she needed to do something to help support her family. After much debate, she enrolled and completed the Veterinarian Technician program at VTI Houston where she graduated with honors and acquired her Associates in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in April 2017. Ptiah has been with the Bay Glen family since graduation and loves her job. She is looking to get her license in the near future. Ptiah’s love of animals started at a young age. Her family growing up were fosters for the Animal Defense League in San Antonio, TX. Finally finding her calling, Ptiah is dedicated to ensuring the health and well being of animals big and small. Ptiah is currently living with her fiance of 7 years and their 4 year old daughter. They have 4 cats: Isolde (7 years old) who is a Seal point Siamese, Flash (6 years old) who is a domestic short-hair brown tabby, Fiona (2 years old) who is a Tortie Siamese, and Milo (1 year old) Orange tabby who is a tripod.
